Draped top of the dress is made from a piece of remnant fabric, hand dyed and painted. The body of the dress is from a vintage kimono taken apart and reconfigured-it is hand painted and hand embroidered with real gold thread- the band and bow in the back is from a vintage scarf from the 1980’s ( which happened to be made in Japan) the amazing brooch in the back is from the 1950’s (photo doesn’t do it justice- it is sooo sparkly and beautiful) The dress is lined with peace silk.
